Draft: needs review by the owner before launch

Delete your data

Last updated October 17, 2026

You can delete your Gridwork account and everything in it yourself, at any time, or ask us to do it.

Delete your account in the app

  1. Sign in and open Settings.
  2. Under Delete account, choose Delete account. Gridwork lists what will be deleted: each workspace and how many posts and media items it holds.
  3. Enter your password and choose Delete my account.

It happens right away and can't be undone. You're signed out on every device.

Ask us by email

If you can't sign in, email {{CONTACT_EMAIL}} from the address on your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We'll confirm the request is yours by replying to that address, then delete the account the same way and tell you when it's done, within 30 days.

What gets deleted

  • Your account: name, email address, password and every session.
  • Every workspace you're the only owner of, with all of its posts, captions, notes, social accounts, media and thumbnails. Stored files are removed from storage, not just hidden.
  • Your membership of workspaces someone else also owns. Those workspaces stay with their other owners, including anything you added to them.
  • Sign-in throttling records tied to your email address.

Copies in our database provider's short-term backups expire on their own soon after. See the privacy policy.

Connected social accounts

When Gridwork can connect to Instagram, TikTok and other platforms, deleting your account or the workspace also deletes the access tokens and everything Gridwork imported from them. You can also remove Gridwork's access from the platform itself, in the settings where it lists the apps and websites you've connected. If you remove access there, ask us by email as above to delete the data we already hold.
